Hike Barnstable Returns For 2025
The annual Barnstable Land Trust program returns in time for Great Outdoors Month. Here's what to know.

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Barnstable Land Trust is set to help the public celebrate Great Outdoors Month with the return of Hike Barnstable programs starting in June.
With support from Cape Cod Healthcare, program highlights include a lady slipper walk, a “tech and trail hike”, author talks, a Thoreau Community Readathon, several volunteer days, a beach clean-up, a solstice labyrinth walk, a Nordic walking clinic, a bog restoration program and a day of field games and geocaching to celebrate the end of the school year, officials said. New for 2025, kids and adults can join the Hike Barnstable Hiking Challenge. Simply hike 5, 10 or 20 miles during the month to be eligible for special certificates, gifts and giveaways. Click here to download the Hike Challenge form.
