Hyannis Snack Shack Applications Open For Summer 2025

BARNSTABLE, MA — Applications are currently open for those interested in running Hyannis Harbor Overlook's Snack Shack for the 2025 season.

The annual pop-up is open from June through November next to the vibrant HyArts Artist Shanties, offering business owners a "high-visibility, low-cost pop-up space ideal for food vendors looking to showcase their offerings," officials said.

Applications are currently being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested vendors can apply here.

The Snack Shack program is a collaborative initiative between the Town of Barnstable and MassDevelopment.

In 2022, Barnstable received a $45,000 Challenge Grant through MassDevelopment’s Transformative Development Initiative (TDI) Program to establish this shared food vendor space. Outfitted with restaurant-grade equipment, the Snack Shack provides a turnkey opportunity for food entrepreneurs to engage with the local community and visitors, officials said.
