Hyannis Twins Get 14 Years In Prison For Gun, Drug Crimes
Feds: Di'lon and Denzel Smith were found with fentanyl, 100+ grams of a fentanyl variable and two guns in a Hyannis apartment in 2017.
HYANNIS, MA — Twin brothers from Hyannis were sentenced to 14 years in prison after pleading guilty to gun and drug charges in November.
Di'lon and Denzel Smith, 29, were found in a Hyannis apartment with fentanyl, more than 100 grams of a variable called cyclopropyl fentanyl, a Smith & Wesson .22-caliber revolver loaded with six rounds, a Heckler & Koch automatic pistol, magazines loaded with 18 rounds of ammunition, and drug-trafficking paraphernalia, including presses and a digital scale, the U.S. Attorney's office said.
The apartment was rented by Di'lon Smith, the USAO said.

Federal authorities said the brothers conspired to sell fentanyl and cyclopropyl fentanyl, which has been associated with several deaths, from Oct. 3, 2017 until their arrest on Nov. 29, 2017.
The brothers pleaded guilty to one count each of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance analogue, one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl and a controlled substance analogue and one count of being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.
