Improperly Parked Cars Cause Issues For Barnstable School Buses: Cops
Police will be upping checks on cars parked near intersections that are proving problematic for school bus operations, police said.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Police will begin conducting checks targeting parked cars that are disrupting school bus operations.
The Barnstable Police Department said they've received "numerous complaints of parked vehicles obstructing the approaches to intersections" during the morning and afternoon hours of Barnstable Public School bus operations.
"The safety of our [community's] youth is paramount, but roadway travel lanes must remain passable to allow for safe vehicle/pedestrian movements," police said.

Police didn't say which intersections they'd be checking, but did say they've identified some as "areas of concern."
