Living with Diabetes Event, Gift Show Opening

Here are five things you need to know, Thursday, Nov. 14.
1. It will be sunny with a high around 49 in Barnstable on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
2. YMCA Cape Cod will hold “Living Well with Diabetes,” a free American Diabetes Month event that help to educate the public about healthy living through family-friendly activities. The event will start at 4:30 p.m.
3. Want to experience a tablet or other handheld devise? The Cotuit Library will hold the technology petting zoo at 10 a.m. Thursday.
4. The Cape Cod Art Association will present the Gift Show. A collection of small works will be available. The show at 3480 Route 6A, Barnstable, will be open Nov. 14 to Dec. 18.
5. The Barnstable Waterways Committee will be in session at 7 p.m. Thursday.
