Local Pizza Recognized by Zagat

A local pizza pie has been hailed by none other than Zagat.

Regina Pizzeria’s The Giambotta is on the Zagat’s list of 50 States, 50 Pizzas, which recognizes the “truly standout pies in every state.”

The Giambotta features pepperoni, sausage, salami, mushrooms, peppers, onions and mozzarella cheese. If that isn’t enough, you can add anchovies.

“Boston has a little slice of Italy right in its city,” Zagat wrote about Regina and The Giambotta.

Others on the list include a Detroit deep dish, a Connecticut white clam pizza and a Florida python pie.

Regina Pizzeria is located at 793 Iyannough Road, Hyannis.
