'Major Detour' Expected In Cape Cod Town Next Week
A bridge closure in Yarmouth is set to impact traffic for locals on Cape Cod. Here's what the detour will look like.

YARMOUTH, MA — Yarmouth police have notified residents of what they're calling a "major detour" that will have a big impact on local traffic.
Starting Monday, the Bass River Bridge will be closed to through travel. Construction crews will be on the Yarmouth side doing work and those traveling to Yarmouth from Dennis will be most affected.
"To avoid any big delays, any traffic that enters Route 28 in Dennis between Route 134 and the Bass River Bridge will have to go east to the detour on Route 134," officials said.

All Yarmouth traffic going east will have to take North Main Street and follow the detour.
"We know the construction and various detours can be cumbersome and we thank you all for your patience while we navigate the work that needs to be done," police officials said.
