Martha's Vineyard Mexican Restaurant To Pop Up In Boston This Spring
El Barco will be available off the Vineyard for the spring and summer in Boston's Back Bay. Here's what to know.

MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA — Restaurateur Patrick Lyons couldn't keep his El Barco imprint away from Boston for too long.
El Barco, which opened on Martha's Vineyard in 2024, is set to open at the Back Bay Summer Shack location as a pop-up starting this month through the summer.
Shack Foods of Back Bay, LLC has petitioned to change its Common Victualler 7 Day All-Alcoholic Beverages License to El Barco at 50B Dalton St.

That's currently a Summer Shack location, which is also operated by Lyons.
El Barco will be open for lunch and dinner daily, and diners can expect much of the same as the Martha's Vineyard location.

El Barco features various authentic Mexican dishes, including quesabirria tacos, burritos, elote and handcrafted margaritas, all served in "a festive atmosphere that captures the essence of Mexican culinary traditions," officials said at the time of the 2024 opening.
