Minor Injuries Reported In Cape Cod Crash
Police said one car was overturned in Yarmouth on Wednesday after a two-car crash that closed a local road.

YARMOUTH, MA — A two-car crash in Yarmouth closed a local road on Wednesday and sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries, officials said.
A Yarmouth police officer was heading north on Forest Road just after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning when a two-car crash occurred in front of her, police officials said.
The crash, involving two sport utility vehicles, happened at the intersection of Forest Road and Long Pond Drive, leaving one car overturned on its roof.

"The officer who witnessed the crash radioed for emergency response and within moments Yarmouth Fire and Police were on scene attending to the occupants and managing traffic," police said.
The roadway was temporarily closed while crews worked the scene, but was cleared and reopened a short time later.

All three occupants of both cars were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with minor injuries.
