Motorcycle Driver Killed In Eastham Memorial Day Crash: Police
Police say the operator was pronounced dead at the scene and officers shut down Massasoit Road near Route 6 for more than three hours.
EASTHAM, MA — A person on a motorcycle was killed in a crash on Memorial Day in Eastham, police said.
Eastham police officers and EMS responded to the scene near Massasoit Road and Edgewood Road around 2:40 p.m. Monday and found the motorcycle off the side of the road, with its driver on the ground nearby, police said.
EMS pronounced the unidentified motorcycle driver dead at the scene.

Massasoit Road was closed between Route 6 and the rear entrance of the Sea Toller Plaza for about three hours while crews worked to clear the scene after the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
