Ocean Street Closes For Emergency Sewer Repairs In Hyannis

HYANNIS, MA — A portion of Ocean Street, in Hyannis, from South Street to Bay Street, will be closed to facilitate emergency sewer repairs today.

Work started at 7 a.m. and is expected to be finished by the end of the day. Businesses and residences will remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Posted detours will be in place, along with traffic control to assist in directing motorists.

Users of the Hy-Line Cruises Hyannis Ferry Terminal, traveling from South Street, should follow the detour along Old Colony Road and plan extra travel time, officials said.
