Here's where you can still find parking, new places to park for 2025 and everything else to know.

PROVINCETOWN, MA — In the latest sign that summer is on the way, Provincetown officials announced that town-wide parking enforcement will begin this week.

Starting Thursday, enforcement will be done daily, including holidays, throughout Provincetown.

The MacMillan Pier Lot and Grace Hall Lot are open 24/7, and all numbered spaces throughout town are enforced from 8 a.m. to midnight.

Parking has already been shut down on Commercial Street for the season between Pearl and Central Streets.

Resident and visitor parking permits are available and can be purchased online via the Town’s website or in person at Town Hall. The permits allow parking in a variety of designated lots and street spaces throughout town.

Officials have actually expanded parking this year in Provincetown.

At the 2024 annual traffic hearing, the Select Board approved a proposal to number the parking spaces in the East End — on Commercial Street from Pearl Street to Allerton Street — as is true throughout the West End.

These spaces are now designated as paid parking and are available through the Passport Parking app. However, residents with a valid parking permit may continue to park in these spots free of charge, officials said.
