Santa Claus Is Coming To Barnstable: Where To See Him
Between Santa's run at a local shopping mall and plenty of holiday lightings and strolls, there's no shortage of opportunities to see him.
BARNSTABLE, MA — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Barnstable and Cape Cod families.
On Cape Cod, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person.

Barnstable Village Winter Stroll
Scheduled for Dec. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m., take a walk through Barnstable Village and catch the annual tree lighting, held at the Barnstable Village Courthouse at 6 p.m.
Falmouth Holidays By The Sea Weekend
From caroling to Santa sightings to fun runs and more, the annual Holidays by the Sea weekend is a favorite on Cape Cod.

This year, the village green lighting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Dec. 6 with the 62nd annual Christmas Parade starting at noon on Dec. 7. This year's parade theme is "Holiday Movie Night."
The festivities get underway on Dec. 5.
Village Strolls
Other local events include the Osterville Village Christmas Open House and Stroll, Hyannis Holiday weekend and Christmas in Cotuit.
Provincetown Events
From The Canteen Holiday Market to the Lobster Pot tree lighting, Provincetown is always a favorite spot to celebrate the holiday season. The latter is scheduled for Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Polar Express Train Ride
Running through Dec. 21 over the weekends, the ride is set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, allowing passengers to relive the magic of the classic story.
The approximately 90-minute ride takes patrons to meet Santa.
Malls
Santa is also holding court at several shopping malls in the local area.
Santa will be at the Cape Cod Mall from Nov. 28 – Dec. 24, though hours vary from day to day. A Breakfast with Santa event is scheduled for Dec. 6 from 10 - 11 a.m.
Santa will also be at the Mashpee Commons Tree Lighting ceremony on Nov. 28, with his appearance scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. The tree lighting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
