Section Of Provincetown's Commerical Street Closed

PROVINCETOWN, MA — A construction project near Provincetown's bustling Commerical Street will close a section of the road this week.

Due to the construction for Cannery Wharf Park, Commercial Street will be closed from Washington Avenue to Pearl Street on Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Law Street is closed to any thru traffic, and traffic will be diverted up Washington Avenue, officials said.

The closure comes as water line installation is scheduled for the project.

"Please avoid the area if you can," police said. "Large delivery trucks will not be able to get through this area."
