Sinkhole Closes Cape Cod Road
A portion of Route 137 in Brewster was closed after officials found a sinkhole forming in the road.
BREWSTER, MA — A sinkhole forced one Cape Cod town to close a portion of Route 137 this week, police said.
The Brewster Police Department shared images of the sinkhole, reporting initially that the northbound lane of Route 137 was closed.
However, police have since updated to share that Route 137 is closed in both directions from Route 6A to Route 124.
