Town Council to Hold Public Hearing on Vacant Properties Amendment
The Barnstable Town Council will meet Thursday, Oct. 17.

The Barnstable Town Council will meet Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. Among the agenda items are a public hearing on an amendment about vacant or foreclosing properties.
Town Council will once again discuss amending the code of Barnstable General Ordinances by inserting language about vacant or foreclosing properties.
The amendment was last discussed on Oct. 3.
The council will also receive presentations from Deb Krau, Chair of the Hyannis Water Board, Maggie Downey, Administrator for Cape Light Compact, Steve Heslinga, Trustee of the Cobb Fund and Tax classification Director of Assessing Jeff Rudziak.
Town Council will make board and committee appointments as well.
