Vandals Destroy Annual Holiday Display

A Centerville family says they won't redecorate after vandals deflated blow-up decorations and cut wires.

A large holiday display featuring inflatables, lights and music that has entertained passersby on the corner of Shootflying Hill Road and Great Marsh Road in Centerville for nearly a decade, is no more.

Overnight Saturday, someone destroyed the elaborate display, homeowner Richard Thompson told capecodonline.com.

The festive decorations have been replaced with a sign declaring defeat.
