Elizabeth Warren Hosting 'Save Health Care' Rally in Boston

Sunday's rally is being called "the first stand."

Massachusetts Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey are among the elected leaders at the head of the fight against Republican plans to roll back key parts of the Affordable Care Act, and they're taking the battle back to their home turf with a rally planned this Sunday in Boston.

Along with Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and members of Massachusetts' congressional delegation, Warren and Markey will host a rally they're calling "First Stand: Save Health Care" from noon until 3 p.m. outside Faneuil Hall.

"Donald Trump and the Republican leadership are marshaling their forces to destroy health care in America. It’s up to us to fight back," Warren's event invitation states. "This Sunday, January 15th, a national day of rallies are scheduled to save health care. I’ll be hosting a rally at Faneuil Hall with hundreds of people. Can you get in this fight with us?"
