Elizabeth Warren Lands 'Marquee' Speaking Slot at Democratic National Convention
Warren will speak on the first night of the convention.

Elizabeth Warren has landed a prime time spot at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, multiple outlets report.
The Massachusetts Senator is slotted to speak the first night of the convention this month -- a likely indication that, despite much speculation, she will not be Hillary Clinton's running mate. The timing is earlier than vice presidential picks typically speak, according to the New York Times.
The paper calls her tentatively scheduled prime time appearance a "marquee" speaking slot.
