Eight Massachusetts Powerball players got early Christmas gifts when they hit for $50,000 in the Christmas Eve drawing.
The Wednesday night winning numbers were 4, 25, 31, 52 and 59 with Powerball 19.
A $1.817 billion ticket was sold in Arkansas.

The $50,000 winning Massachusetts tickets were sold at Provincetown Cumberland Farms, a Rockland Go Go Gas, an Attleboro Cumberland Farms, a Methuen Ted's Stateline Mobil, an Essex Schooners Market, a Dedham 7-Eleven, a Peabody Stop & Shop and a Salem Castle Hill Mini Mart.
Winners have a year to claim their money.

The next estimated jackpot is $20 million with the drawing closing at 9:50 p.m. Saturday.
