Meet the Massachusetts Speakers at DNC 2016

Marty Walsh, Joe Kennedy, Elizabeth Warren will speak at the Democratic Nominating Convention. But you already knew that last one, right?

The Bay State will make a strong showing at Democrats' 2016 nominating convention in Philadelphia, the party confirmed Thursday.

In addition to a much-discussed speech by U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh has now, too, been confirmed as a speaker at the national party confab. Also on the list, as reported by The Boston Globe, is U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy III, who will introduce Warren before her marquee speaking spot.

The convention next week serves to solidify Hillary Clinton's place as the party's presumptive nominee.
