Police: Phillips Street Home Broken Into, Ransacked, Resident Robbed

A Phillips Street man returned home Tuesday at 3:46 p.m. to find his front door busted open, his apartment ransacked and hundreds of dollars' worth of belongings stolen. 

According to police reports, the victim's door had been kicked in and several electronics items, his debit card and a watch had been stolen. The thief later tried to use the debit card at a Target in Everett but was unsuccessful. 

Police reports do not indicate they have a suspect, but the incident is under investigation. 

Monday, Nov. 12

• At 5:55 p.m. police responded to 146 Bowdoin St. and arrested Paul Kirkorian and Cristian Algarin, both of Roxbury, on a charge of possession of a class A drug (heroin). 

Tuesday, Nov. 13

• At 10:35 p.m. police responded to 161 Charles St. for a report of a shoplifting. 

Wednesday, Nov. 14

• At 10:09 a.m. police responded to 9 1/2 Pinckney St. for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. According to police reports, the victim said that two men had just pushed his window screen in and one was halfway inside when the victim yelled at them, asking what they were doing. The two men ran off into a gray Toyota Camry that was waiting for them. Police searched the area to no avail.
• At 3:27 p.m. police responded to Bowdoin Street for a report of assault and battery. They arrested Robert Cooper of Dorchester on the charge and discovered an outstanding warrant for possession of a class A drug (heroin) for Cooper. 
• At 6:20 p.m. police responded to Subways on Tremont Street for a report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife). According to police reports, after an earlier argument 39 Bowdoin St. the victim told the suspect she was going to call police. The victim then went to Subways, where the suspect found her, punched her in the face and pulled a knife on her. He continued assaulting her as she called the police, ripping her pants, police reports state.
