Republican Governors Confab Quietly Comes to Back Bay: Report
Gov. Charlie Baker's public schedule made no mention of the event, according to The Boston Globe.

BOSTON, MA — Members of the Republican Governors Association quietly convened in Back Bay this week, an assemblage that was entirely unpublicized by the governor who hosted the confab — Charlie Baker.
Baker has publicly repeatedly said he is not one for national politics, taking a head-down, state-focused approach. However, behind the scenes he does so "while often quietly meeting with GOP groups," as The Boston Globe reports.
Last week's multi-day conference took place at the Copley Square Hotel, a political operative in attendance told The Boston Globe.
