See Whether Your School Committee Has Voted to Oppose Question 2
More than 100 school committees have signed resolutions opposing lifting the cap on charter schools in Massachusetts, according to the MTA.

More than 100 school committees have voted to formally oppose Question 2, an initiative on this November's ballot that will determine whether or not Massachusetts incrementally lifts its cap on the number of charter schools in the state.
The Massachusetts Teachers Association provided a list of school committees the union group says have formally signed a resolution calling for a "no" vote on the ballot question. According to the MTA, "not a single school committee or city council has voted to support Question 2."
If the cap did lift, it's likely urban centers like Boston and Springfield would be the first to add additional schools. MassLive took a good look at all the possible outcomes, which you can read here.

The MTA, an adamantly anti-charter group, provided a sample resolution that school committees could use (although that doesn't necessarily mean each committee used that language verbatim). It also provided a list of the 112 school committees it says have formally stated their opposition.
You can find the full list from MTA here.
