Trump Accuses Australia of Trying to Send the 'Next Boston Bombers': Reports
When your city's tragedy becomes a political football...

President Donald Trump is unhappy with what he calls a "dumb" Obama administration deal to bring mostly Muslim immigrants into the United States from Australia, reportedly accusing the Australian Prime Minister of trying to send the “next Boston bombers” during a tense, 25-minute conversation.
That's according to the Associated Press, which reports the president "abruptly ended the expected hour-long conversation" early, angry over a deal he has since publicly trashed. It was his first phone call with Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull.
The reported reference to Marathon bombers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, U.S. citizens born in Kyrgyzstan, came in the course of a discussion over an Obama administration deal that would bring around 1,600 asylum seekers to the States.

Turnbull later downplayed the acrimony, telling reporters the countries' relationship remains strong and saying Trump has agreed to the deal, the AP reports.
Not so likely, if Trump's next tweet is to be believed:

Do you believe it? The Obama Administration agreed to take thousands of illegal immigrants from Australia. Why? I will study this dumb deal!
