Two Armed Men Arrested Following Beacon Hill Bank Robbery
The robbers ripped off the Hingham Institution for Savings on Charles Street Friday afternoon.

Two bank robbery suspects were arrested in Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood Friday afternoon following an incident in the Beacon Hill section, police confirmed.
Around 3 p.m., two armed robbers ripped off the Hingham Institution for Savings on Charles Street, according to police spokeswoman Rachel McGuire. The men demanded money, received it, and fled the bank with an unknown amount.
Bank employees were able to successfully describe the suspects to responding officers.

Later Friday afternoon, two men fitting the description were arrested in Charlestown.
Charges will not be filed until after the suspect is positively identified by employees, McGuire said.
