Crowds Swarm Hidden Gardens of Beacon Hill Tour
Dozens of garden enthusiasts turnout out Thursday for the 84th Annual Hidden Gardens of Beacon Hill Tour from the Beacon Hill Garden Club. Twelve gardens from garden club members were selected for the tour, as well as four "ribbon" gardens in the neighborhood from non-club members.
Long lines wrapped around several streets where onlookers hoped to grab a glimpse of the fine neighborhood gardens.

The campaigns for Democrats Joshua Dawson and Jay Livingstone have each been touting several endorsements as the May 28 primary for the open 8th Suffolk County House of Representatives seat draws near.
Livingstone picked up the endorsements for the two most immediate past 8th Suffolk representatives, Democrats Marty Walz and Paul Demakis. Dawson recently picked up the endorsement of Cambridge City Councilor Leland Cheung.
Marriage Equality Anniversary Celebrated at Public Garden
Dozens of local gay and lesbian couples gathered at the Boston Public Garden Thursday to celebrate the 9th anniversary of the law that gave them the right to marry in Massachusetts.
The celebration, put on in partnership between Gay & Lesbian Advocates and Defenders (GLAD), the Respect for Marriage Coalition and Mayor Thomas Menino, ended with a group photo at a location popular for wedding photography.
