John Kerry detailed his post-Secretary of State plans, such as they are, in a Boston Globe interview this week.

WASHINGTON, DC — Much has been written about President Obama's impending departure from the White House, but positions like Secretary of State tend to slip away more quietly.

Sec. John Kerry gave a brief interview with The Boston Globe on his future plans this week, emphasizing all the while that these are undeveloped ideas and nothing is certain.

One thing we do know: he's coming back to Beacon Hill, where Kerry famously has a townhouse on Louisburg Square.

Beyond that, Kerry says maybe some time in the private sector and definitely more work on environmental issues is in the cards.
