Bedford Athletes Honored With All-Scholastic Award

Two Buccaneer's were chosen by the Boston Globe as All-Scholastic award winners for the fall athletic season.

 

The Boston Globe announced the All-Scholastic award winners for the fall high school athletic season on Dec. 9, with two Bedford High School athletes honored as All-Scholastic athletes. 

Erin Dietz, a sophomore and member of the BHS girls cross country team, received an All-Scholastic award for going undefeated in dual meets and taking home the Dual-County League Championship, according to the Globe.

Dietz also set course records at Bedford and Lincoln-Sudbury, as well as winning the Bay State Invitational and the EMass Division 5 meet.

Michael Dushman, a junior, was honored as a All-Scholastic winner for boys soccer with a 15 goal, six assist season, helping the Bucs to a one loss regular season, according to the Globe.

Dushman was also named the Dual County League MVP.
