Credit Card Skimmer Found on Gas Pump, Warrant Arrest, Erratic Driver, Telephone Pole Down and More

BEDFORD, MA - The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Bedford Police Department. Where mentioned, an arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Thursday, Feb. 18
6:41 a.m. - Received a call from Bank of America Security reporting an alarm for the ATM at the Bank of America, #158 The Great Road. Officers checked that location and all is in order. They spoke with a contractor who is doing work at that location. No further action needed.
9:25 a.m. - Police received a call from Bedford Florist requesting a well being check on people who appear to be living in the woods behind the shopping center. The officers located and identified the parties involved. Leeann Levesque, 51, of New Bedford was placed under arrest on active warrants from Dudley District Court.

11:14 a.m. - Call from a party at 2 Madel Lane reporting a water problem in the basement. Companies on scene assisted the home owners in removing the water from the basement. Building Inspector notified and responding.
1:38 p.m. - Officer reports a motor vehicle violation at 440 The Great Road. Officer requested a tow. Mal’s responding for the tow. Officer reports a courtesy transport of the operator to Avalon Drive.

2:25 p.m. - Received a call reporting a credit card skimmer found on a gas pump at 358 The Great Road, the Shell Gas Station. Office dispatched.
4:49 p.m. - Received multiple calls reporting a telephone pole that came down in front of 29 Maxwell Road. Office dispatched. Eversource notified and responding
7:48 p.m. - Received a call reporting an erratic operator travelling on Concord Road in area of Davis Road. Caller reported vehicle was unable to maintain a lane and almost hit the curb. Responding officer stopped vehicle in the area of 97 North Road. Officer reported he spoke to the operator, there was no impairment.
8:01 p.m. - Received a call reporting there has been a dog in a vehicle for two hours in front of Red Heat Tavern. Officer reports he located the vehicle and the dog does not appear to be in distress at this time.
9:45 p.m. - 911 call reporting a motor vehicle accident in front of 123 Page Road with no injuries. Officer assisted the parties with exchanging information.
10:23 p.m - Received a call reporting a resident locked herself out of her home on Liberty Road. Officers were able to assist the party get back into the home.
