UPDATE: Fire at Hanscom Air Force Base Monday Morning

BEDFORD, MA - A fire ignited at the new middle school construction project at Hanscom Air Force Base around 7:45 a.m. Monday morning.

According to a Hanscom release, The fire occurred in the new middle school construction project, which was only occupied by construction workers at the time. No injuries were reported and the fire was put out quickly.

Children at the base middle, attending classes in alternate facilities during construction, and primary school students continued classes as normal.

The extent of the damage is unknown.
