Five Things: Grass or Turf for Fields and Mudge and Liljegren

Selectmen, BHS basketball and more today in Bedford.

 

1. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website public meetings posted for today include the Selectmen at 7:30 p.m. 

2. Turf or Grass: At their meeting tonight, the Selectmen will decide whether the fields at Mudge and Liljegren Way will be artificial turf of grass. The design for the fields was approved at Special Town Meeting back in Nov.

3. BHS Basketball: The Bedford High School boys varsity basketball team will scrimmage Stoneham High School at SHS at 6 p.m.

5. Rainy Day, Rainy Night: There is a 60 percent chance of rain Thursday with a high of 53, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a 60 percent chance of rain Monday night with a low of 38.
