Five Things You Need to Know Today: Nov. 19

The Unplugged Lego Challenge, Thanksgiving traditions and more today in Bedford.

 

1. Unplugged Lego Challenge: The Unplugged Lego Challenge will be held at the Bedford Free Public Library and is open to kids in K - 5th grades. Participants will be challenged with a theme or can build their own creation. Afterwards, models will be put on display in the case outside the Children's Room. Call Nancy Tegeler at the Library at 781-275-9440 with questions.

2. What Is Your Favorite Bedford Thanksgiving Tradition?: Do you make it a point to get out to the annual Thanksgiving Day game between Bedford and Concord-Carlisle? Let us know what your favorite Bedford T-day tradition is!

 3. Tuesday School Committee Canceled: The School Committee meeting scheduled for Nov. 20 has been canceled, according to the Superintendent's office. The next School Committee meeting will be held Nov. 27 at Bedford High School.

5. Sunny Day, Cloudy Night: Monday will be partly sunny with a high of 51, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a low of 30 Monday night.
