BHS swimming, deck the halls and more today in Bedford.

 

1. Bedford Tree Lighting: The annual Bedford tree lighting ceremony will take place Monday, Dec. 10 on the town common. Citizen of the year Bobbie Ennis will flip the switch and set the common aglow. Santa may even make an appearance.

2. BHS Swimming Invitational: The Bedford High School boys and girls varsity swimming team will participate in an invitational swim meet at Lincoln-Sudbury High School at 4:30 p.m.

3. Deck The Halls: Do you take pride in decorating your house for the holidays? Send us a photo of your house decked out in holiday decorations for a chance to win $100,000 to be donated to Bedford Public Schools or $500 to go toward your own utility bills.

5. Sunny Day, Snowy Night: Friday will be partly sunny with a high of 35, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a 40 percent chance of snow shower Friday night with a low of 23.
