Man Arrested on Warrant, Truck Strikes Traffic Lights and More

BEDFORD, MA - The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Bedford Police Department. Where mentioned, an arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, April 11
11:20 a.m. - Police received a 911 call reporting a large truck took down a traffic signal, in the area of 202 Burlington Road. Officer on scene reports the lights were struck and are now malfunctioning. MassDOT notified.
12:24 p.m. - Police received fax from Lowell District Court of a warrant of apprehension Section 35 for Joshua Cote, an employee of Red Heat Tavern. Officers were dispatched and placed Cote, of Billerica into custody and transported him to Concord District Court.

1:58 p.m. - Caller reports there is a large bird, possibly a hawk lying beside the road on The Great Road, near Masardis Street. Animal Control Officer notified who reports the bird is dead. DPW notified.
4:25 p.m. - Received a call reporting a female was walking around the parking lot at the Whole Foods asking for rides. Reporting party say his wife is now speaking with the individual at Memorial Park. Officers dispatched discovered the individual got off at the wrong stop, transported her to the CVS. Officer reports the individual was placed on the MBTA bus headed home and her daughter was advised.

5:57 p.m. - Received a call reporting a loose dog on Dudley Road near the Billerica line. Officer dispatched reports the dog has been reunited with it's owner.
