Chief John Fisher says officers are actively investigating several break-ins and attempted entries from October through November and are relying on community tips to generate new leads.
   

• Salem man held on $100k bail for allegedly stockpiling explosive materials, ghost gun equipment (wcvb.com) — State police say a Salem man had large-capacity gun magazines shipped to his mother’s home in Bedford, prompting a wider investigation. Officers later searched his Salem apartment, where they report finding assault-style firearm parts, a 3D printer, and explosive-making materials. He’s being held on $100,000 bail and has pleaded not guilty, with a hearing set for January.
