Police: A Break In and a Surveyor

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, Nov. 12

8:21 a.m.- A resident of Neillian Way requested to speak with an officer concerning a truck that had been parked in the area.

9:06 a.m.- A resident of Page Road called the Bedford Police Department to report there house had been broken into. 

1:36 p.m.- Police received a call reporting ATVs and dirt bikes being operated on the bike path in the area of Caesar Jones Way. The responding officer checked the area with negative results.

2:56 p.m.- Police received a call from the building manager at 100 Crosby Drive reporting a group of teens on BMX bikes were riding on the property and had video cameras with them. The responding officer checked the area with negative results. 

4:45 p.m.- A caller reported a suspicious white male wearing dark clothing and carrying a yellow stick who said he was surveying the land. The responding officer spoke with the individual and confirmed he was there to survey land on Rodney Road.

6:23 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a deer had been struck by a vehicle and was in the roadway in front of 182 North Road. The Animal Control Officer responded. 

11:04 p.m.- A resident of Elm Street reported a suspicious male walking next to her home. The caller reported when the individual noticed she had seen him he dropped a ladder.
