The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has released its educator evaluations for the 2014-2015 school year.

BEDFORD, MA - The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has released its educator evaluations for the 2014-2015 school year, including evaluations for Bedford educators.
How did Bedford teachers rank? According to the evaluation results, 97.5 percent of the 275 educators evaluated received a proficient rating, 1.1 percent of educators received an exemplary rating, and 0.7 percent of educators were designated as needing improvement. No teachers were designated as unsatisfactory.
An exemplary teacher's performance consistently and significantly exceeds the standard requirements, according to the evaluation methodology. Proficient teachers fully and consistently meet standards, and teachers needing improvement fall below standard requirements.

Provincetown High School had the highest percentage of exemplary teachers in the state, with 68.2 percent of educators exceeding standards. Out of public schools, Fall River had the highest number of educators needing improvement, with 25.9 percent of educators falling under that designation.
