Monday's Trash Pickup to Continue Tuesday
Treacherous driving cut Bedford's trash/recycle collection short. What you need to know if your trash hasn't been picked up on Monday.

BEDFORD, MA - The town of Bedford’s trash collection for Monday is complete for the day. While Republic Services was able to collect trash from most residences, there are a number of streets where the recycling did not get picked up.
Bedford town officials say Republic will return Tuesday to collect recycling and trash from the streets it could not get to today.
Residents whose trash and/or recycling was not collected Monday should bring in their trash carts and bins to allow the DPW to clear the streets. Trash carts and recycling bins should be out by 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

“We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation,” said Ed McGrath, Bedford’s recycling coordinator. “Some roads were just too treacherous for Republic’s trucks to negotiate and in the interest of safety; it was decided to finish the collection tomorrow.”
