Weekend Storm Might Miss Bedford
Light snow is possible this weekend, but keep checking the forecast.

The approaching snowstorm that has prompted state of emergency alerts from Virginia up the East Coast to New York City and expected to bring more than a feet of snow to parts of the East Coast this weekend is expected to lightly coat or altogether bypass Bedford.
According to National Weather Service, these conditions are estimated for this weekend:
Friday: Sunny with a high near 29 and northwest wind 3-7 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 15 and light north wind.
Saturday: 40 percent chance of snow after 11 a.m. with a high near 29 and little or no snow accumulation expected.

Saturday night: Snow is likely with a 60 percent chance and a low around 22.
Sunday: 30 percent chance of snow mainly before noon, with partly sunny conditions and a high near 31.
Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 19.
