1. How hard can it be to run for President? One Book One Belmont and Belmont World Film presents noted political comedian Jimmy Tingle at Belmont's Studio Cinema where he will perform a live show on his run for President following a screening of his documentary Jimmy Tingle's American Dream. The show gets underway at 7:30 p.m.

2. It's time for parent-teachers conferences throughout the Belmont School District and just like everything else in our modern society, parents will set a time online on the schools' website or by calling call Kathy Femia, conference coordinator, at 617-993-5452.

2. Join 95-year-old Roy Freed for a talk on the power of reminiscence,
including the healthful benefits of sharing yours at a talk hosted by the Beech Street Center at 1 po.m. After a career in computer law, Freed started several new chapters in his life, including researching how people learn and form ideas, as well as starting an organization that supports Bulgarian newcomers to the U.S. Have an opportunity to share your own stories at this program.

4. The Beech Street Center has a new boccie court – and it is fully equipped – balls, score board, tape measure, rakes even directions. It is available during the Center’s hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday until 7 p.m.) and the general public is welcome to use it as with other programs at the Center.

5. Belmont High School Girls' Volleyball are spiking and digging this afternoon when the Marauders host Arlington High School at Wenner Field House at 4 p.m.
