There'll be a cornucopia of violins at the Belmont Farmers Market this week. Coleen Bennett and Jocelyn Milton will perform at 2 p.m. and Karen Allendoerfer and her son, Eric Wetzel, will be on stage at 4 p.m. in the Events Tent.
Bennett is a Belmont violin teacher, and Milton is one of her adult students. They have played at the market, and in many local productions and orchestras, including the Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra.
Karen and Eric will play a fiddle duet and light classical pieces as solos. Karen is a violinist with the Arlington Philharmonic and Eric, who will be entering fifth grade at the Chenery, is a graduate of the string program at Wellington elementary. He studies cello with Jing Li at Powers Music School.
