Banner Day For Graduating Belmont High Diver
Joe Tocci earned his banner winning the Middlesex League diving championship.

Recent Belmont High School graduate Joe Tocci has received the banner he earned this past winter as the Middlesex League Diving Champion. Banners are awarded to athletes who place first in their events at the annual Middlesex League meet.
“Joe had an incredible season and was truly an inspiration to the younger divers on the team. This banner will forever recognize his accomplishments and further inspire Belmont’s younger divers. It’s a well deserved honor and he should be very proud,” according to Belmont High Head Coach Bobby Reardon.
In addition to his accomplishments at the Middlesex League Meet, Tocci set a new Varsity Dive Record for Belmont this past season and qualified to compete in the Division II State Swimming meet.

Tocci was able to take the banner home for a few weeks to allow him to show it to his family and friends. Once it was returned to BHS, the banner will be hung in the pool.
