Belmont High Hockey Honoring Jack Normile

Long-time volunteer has been a presence at the Viglirolo rink.

The Belmont High School Boys' Hockey team and its head coach Dante Muzzioli invites the Belmont community to join them at tomorrow's game to honor Jack Normile at a puck-dropping ceremony at the Skip Viglirolo Rink on Concord Avenue.

The ceremony – Saturday, Feb. 12 at 2:30 p.m. – will take place before the Marauders' game against Stoneham.

Normile is being honored for volunteering endless hours to the youth of Belmont while having 11 children of his own.  Normile started volunteering at the High School rink soon after it opened in the 1970's, coaching at all age groups.
