Belmont's Domos, Keefe Graduate from The Rivers School

Christian and Christina graduated earlier this month from the Weston school.

Belmont residents Christian Domos and Christina Keefe were two of 83 seniors to graduate from The Rivers School in Weston last Friday, June 7.

Throughout his time at Rivers, Domos excelled in Latin and in art, and he has spent much of his free time volunteering at the food bank, at a soup kitchen in Boston, and at the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions. Domos’ outgoing personality served him well this fall, when he was a coach of the Rivers’ middle school B soccer team. Domos' many club memberships at Rivers reflect his diverse interests: He was a member of the Stock Club, the BBQ Club, and the Ultimate Frisbee Club, and he also played hockey and lacrosse.

The son of Candace and Robert Domos, Chris will attend Syracuse University in the fall.

Keefe was a motivated, organized student who was involved in everything from the Red Key tour guide program to the Service Council, of which she was the co-president. Keefe was a leader in the math and science classrooms and is a student who genuinely loves learning, as evidenced by the Science Prize she received on Rivers’ Prize Day, as well as her election to the Cum Laude Society. Keefe has given back to her community through her volunteer work at the Belmont Food Pantry, and she also took service trips to New Orleans and Romania to further her commitment to giving back. Keefe also worked with the Teen Leadership Corps, a group that connects teens between 12 to 18 with one another.

The daughter of Robert and Cynthia Keefe, Christina will attend Cornell University this fall.
