Boston Magazine School Rankings: See Where Belmont Finished

BELMONT, MA — Boston Magazine has released their rankings of the best public high schools.

Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.

Belmont finished 40th out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.

Who did the best according to Boston Magazine? Acton-Boxborough Regional high school came in at number one. Here's how Belmont's neighboring communities ranked:

• Arlington High School ranked No. 45
• Watertown High School ranked No. 51
• Waltham High School ranked No. 110
• Cambridge Rindge and Latin School ranked No. 83
