Dedicating the Butler Playground, Benton Library's Book Club, Story Time

1. Come join distinguished guest and hundreds of Butler students and their families for the dedication of the Daniel Butler Playground, 90 White St., which coincides with the Butler PTA Fall Picnic at 6 p.m.

2. Help save the world: Sustainable Belmont will be holding its monthly meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in the Flett Room. 

3. The Benton Library Book Group will discuss all of mystery author P.D. James’ works beginning at 4 p.m. Newcomers are welcome even if they have not read the books. The Book Group resumes meeting on the first Wednesday of the month in October at the library's located at Old Middlesex and Oakley.

4. Belmont Public Library's Storytime for 1's is for walkers and toddlers under the age of 24 months. Share simple stories, songs, finger plays, nursery rhymes, and puppets. The fun gets underway at 10:30 a.m. in the library's in the library's Flett Room.
