The “Hot Pink” Committee of the Belmontian Club designed new T-shirts for this year’s efforts to raise money in the fight against breast cancer.

The T-shirt is just one effort to raise student awareness of the disease, This Friday, Oct. 19, students will be wearing pink for the day. In addition, they are eligible for winning prizes if they make a $1 donation to the American Cancer Society. Those prizes are sponsored by Robert’s Salon, Stone Hearth Pizza, bodytrio, Subway, Revolve, Patou, Ranc’s, Aram’s Café, A Chocolate Dream and Ohlin’s

The T-shirts are available for $10  at the high school by contacting Alice Melnikoff at  617-993-5981 and, on Friday night, at the “Pinkout” football game when Belmont takes on Reading at Harris Field at 6 p.m.
