More than 70 residents representing kids to seniors came together today, Friday, Aug. 30, at Belmont's Beech Street Center for two things that unite all people despite their age: ice cream and fun. The Council on Aging dished out cups of ice cream and supplied the entertainment, Mad Science Extravaganza, at its annual Ice Cream Social. A great deal of thanks goes to COA Director Nava Nin-Vogel for bringing a large intergenerational group together. Then again, the ice cream did help.
