Letter to the Editor: Rogers Will Be Effective in State House

"He will be a hard-working, intelligent, and responsive public servant."

Rogers: hard work, effectiveness

Like most people in Belmont, I didn't know Dave Rogers when the campaign for State Representative began. But I have come to support Dave because he embodies all the qualities that will make him effective representing us at the State House.

His dedication and hard work are unparalleled. Dave has knocked on over 2300 doors throughout the district to introduce himself and to learn what is on residents' minds.

As a long-time supporter of the Belmont Public Schools, I strongly believe Dave will work tirelessly for our fair share of state funds for education. Beyond funding necessities, Dave also understands the challenges our schools, teachers, and students face as we strive to improve learning outcomes while attending to the well-being and needs of our children.

I am very impressed with Dave's listening skills and his true interest in learning more about the issues that concern Belmont residents. He is well-informed on a wide range of issues, and has excellent ideas for dealing with our many challenges--but he also wants to work collaboratively, with colleagues and constituents alike, to find solutions that will work for the benefit of everyone.

Dave's experience in government, the law, and "state of the art" industry gives him a deep background for understanding what our Commonwealth must do to secure a better future for all of us. He will be a hard-working, intelligent, and responsive public servant.

I urge you to join me in supporting Dave Rogers for State Representative this November.
